heya !! well.. its been a few days of not blogging... been reading but lazy to write my own entry.. haha... starting from tuesday.. all the updates up next !!! tuesday... well.. hmm.. went for class... CRS... late as usual.. ahhaa.. but miss leong aka miss lily aka monkey teacher (not coz she looks like a money.. but is that she owns a monkey !!) didn't mark me late... haha.. like taking advantage sia !!... well.. din do much... just slack and surf.. coz del didn't turn up.. she was sick.. then we didn't know how to continue.. so nvm.. forget it.. we did most of it already anyway... then after that went for lunch... think me and banu went FC4... ya... FC4... friend rice and mixed chicken cutlets... ahha... nice sia ! then DCCT.. was handed the projects... i know how to do the flip flops !!! yay !!!! and that time was the 1st time i noticed that lingz was acting not her usual self.. but i sorta brushed it off.. oh well... anyway... after that was DCCT tutorial.. i slept again.. man !!! i shouldn't have... well.. after that.. basically did nothing much la.. then slacked till band practice starts... went to GIM foodcentre to grab some dinner alone... then yong qiang they all arrived.. so i sat with them for awhile la... band practice was ok la.. not focused.. but was ok... funny also... the tenor sax section damn fun la.. clara me and siow wee.. wwhahahaa.... and i realised clara is a post post graduate... getting PhD !!! i mean pursuing !! whats more.. in stem cell research... woahhhh !! ahaha.... amazed.. i always thought she's going through her masters or sumthing... woah.. anyway... wednesday was alright as well... went for class on time la.. BUTTT !!!! i fell asleep again.. shit siaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa !!!! VB.. one of my fav modules... and i fell asleep.. sheesh.. ahaha.. nvm... i will do well !!! coz its the assignment only !!! then data comms... well... was awake la.. but then... didn't know what he was talking about... sheesh... ahha... have to go study on my own... hahaa... well.. basically wednesday was a rest day for me la.. got home a little earlier than usual then went to some serious TV watching.. ahah.. and i think a little napping here and there.. ahaha... i've got to pull up my socks man !!! thursday... the long day... ugh... nvm... anyway... didn't need to go for com hardware... ahah. its the lecture remember ?? ahah.. then data comms... was a little late.. anyway.. did the lab quiz... was a little off so got 9 out of 10... haiz.. nvm.. its still a confirmed 9% !! ahaha.. now to pass semestral exam... :D then VB... i'm getting the hang of it !!! but what calvin said was true la.. i getting a little too confident.. so must be a little humble and not venture off too far and lose my self.. ahaha... i'm going to do above average for the assignment !!!! thursday was routine as sunday... slacked.. then ate sumthing light.. 2 thosei's and 1 egg one.. sheesh.. although small but damn full.. maybe coz of the flour.. heavy... band practice was worse than tuesday's !!! so many finger pointings and mistakes.. ugh... well.. today is ok la.. manageble.. morning went to sch.. on the MRT saw jimmy... then chatted with him.. when we reached JE mrt station.. there was an MRT congestion.. ahah.. oh well... luckily the mrt we're on goes straight to pasir ris.. haha.. anyway... we were delayed for about 15 to 20 minutes... was late for class... but mrs low still gave us the grant coz there was the stupid congestion... anyway.. lingz didn't turn up again... had DCCT lecture after that... was doing a little planning for DCCT's thinking project.. i'm getting the hang of it also !! ahaha... yay !!! anyway... i could only understand a little of the chapters.. i need the remedials... ahaha... i figured that the girls take taking pictures more seriously than studying... well.. for 1 particular one only la.. well... i'm sure she knows who she is.. or is she so bimbo to not realise ? nvm.. spoil mood only.. so.. went to FC 5 alone again for lunch.. well.. i seem to work better alone.. ahaha.. more relaxed and myself.. and i can go ard talking to myself.. haha.. weird.. i know.. then went for music class.. ok la. completed the easy tests.. then start on the impressonist period.. ahaha.. so cool... my favoring period.. ahaha.. yay !!! but nothing much also.. i miss you S... then went for maths remedial.. realised that i have loads of careless mistakes.. siannnn... nvm then... i must improve !!! band prac.. nothing big la.. just that i lost to anson on the composition thingy.. well.. coz i coundln't find time also la.. ahha... haha.. oh well.. yvone going to quit band..why ? i also duno.. ahaha.. well.. gonna stop here for now la.. falling asleep liow ! anyway.. Pat messaged me.. she got 20 points for L1B4.. well.. see ! not too bad right ? but i guess she was given a chance.."not everyone is given this chance".. words of brother mike... woah.. ahaha.. well.. i'll talk about him later... Yun shan din do that well.. 23 .. well.. her dad had his wish.. for her to go nursing.. haiz.. oh well.. i really can't find a better course for her to go ! coz its like all the engin courses.. she didn't want.. all the MM courses she didn't want.. she wants sumthing to do with bio.. and nursing is the best bet with her kind of grades.. well.. i'll just have to tell her... Eugene did well.. 10 points for L1B4.. wow... JC standard... he's smart...from the 1st looks.. i can see he's intelligent already... well.. you see.. the 2 baby boys of MS.. one is like me.. the other is like hash... Jason is more like me.. hard working.. always making mistakes but still.. hardworking.. and eugene.. he handled the 1st day of "bar war" well and he's a natural... well.. i should say.. both ways are fine.. and... well... i guess the former has to work harder !!! jia you the both of you... anyway... jason got n 18 for L1R4.. not bad also.. but limited choices...hope they allow him to come to a design course in SP.. ahaha... yea.. wee ping got 15 for L1R5.. cheerios ! she got what she wanted... TPJC.. ahaha... muhaimin had a L1R4 of 20.. but he had a D7 for english.. he was so discouraged.. and even his brother discouraged him.. i can't believe it man.. well.. luckily he asked me.. coz i reassured him that a D7 is still ligible for a poly course.. many in fact.. :) dun worry... tony failed everything.. err.. well... Farhan got a 29.. sheesh.. and he's so carefree about it.. oh welps... wei pei had a 15 also ! for L1R5... goodie !! but she already decided to go poly.. so yea.. well.. all the better.. :) fabian only passed bio english and math... he could combine his cert.. and get a 26.. well.. hope he just goes into a poly course and not act rashly like he always does... bro.. you must think... dun act hastily and regret later... ramdan had an average C6 for all his subs.. ermm.. well.. HAIYO... i really duno what to say.. he's a nice chap la.. but then... haiz.. oh well.. i guess this year's o levels was abit tough... well.. hope for the bst in their choices... i feel for you too... NOW.. back to MYYY life.. well.. got back com hardware paper today.. i really really wanna say I LOVE YOU MR ONGGG !!!! well.. he's been treating me extra nice throughout .. well.. he's one of the lecturers l can joke with and well.. he passed my com hardware.. ahaha... :) now for final year project.. its either him or Mr Au... ahaha.. crazy... both are like father figures la.. so cool... well.. i pormised to talk about my encounter with bro mike.. so i shall do it now.. well.. last friday... after sch (including music).. i had some time to burn... so i decided to go SJI for a visit.. was supposed to help out the band.. but end up getting a tour and meeting the staff.. ahah..not all. but some of hash's teachers... and yea... bro mike was one of them... he's a brother la (well.. obvious..) and well.. my experience with him was a rather cool one... gave us advice.. and just practically chatted.. wow... such openess... i mean.. which deputy principal will allow alumnis and guests to come in to their office just for a chat when he/she has quite alot of work to do ? well.. if i were the dep. principal.. i wouldn't.. well.. after my work.. yes.. but in the midst.. of course not.. yea.. and i learnt the meaning of my name.. it means shining sword or shining sumthing.. its sumthing to do with chivalry... so cool.. :) its like.. wow... never was i so amazed bya secondary school.. as i mentioned before.. i like schools with traditions and histories... of good ones la.. its just.. so cool... so saturday.. was supposed to help auntie carol to move house.. but me.. lazy me.. i couldn't wake up.. i was damn dreary the whole morning.. until about 1 plus.. close to 2... well.. shit la.. sorry ppl !!!!!! i really didn't mean to be so lazy.. i've got to change my sleeping habits... ok.. anyway.. woke up to get to work.. was late.. sheesh.. again.. BUT !! i wasn't marked late.. coz.. i had to go PS to collect some stuff.. haha.. so hengggg ah.. if not sure late one. ahhaa.. so took a cab to PS (i not really outrageously late.. then abit suspicious correct ?) then took mrt to OD... well.. work was SIAN la.... met some new ppl.. well.. for one.. i think they just talk too much.. so this is whats happening.. well.. auntie linda brought up the topic of other cafes... well.. she was commenting on how cool the look and how classy they were.. she and alex (the trainee shift leader) and mervin (the trainee part timer) were talking while i was having my staff meal.. so the convo went on like this.. Linda(L) Mervin(M) Alex(A) L: wah.. you got see other cafes ? so nice... M: ya la.. you got see TCC ? the coffee connection ? (well.. first things first.. TCC isn't the coffee connection.. its the coffee connoisseur) L: ohhh.. wah... like class hor... A: ya.. got sofa and all... so nice.. this cafe ah ? no fight la... A: my idea of a cafe is hor.. all sofas.. then playing jazz music or classical music only... then got the "air" (uh huh.. ambience he meant) A: the most important thing is the sales mah.. then here hor.. the sales like shit also.. haiyo... the boss is just too rich la.. L:wah.. the boss really rich hor.. A: is not only rich.. is VERY RICH ok.. this rich part.. i agree.. but he didn't need to go on saying.. A:look at the manager skills ? even to our direct up also.. i see she got not manageral skills.. just take win (out senior outlet in charge).. she cannot make it one la.. well.. at this point.. i was getting pissed already.. i mean.. helo !? if you're so great... then why not apply for a manageral post ? i mean come on... you think you're so great.. leave this place ! besides.. you've only been in this network of cafes for what..2 months ? hello.. even a part timer like me knows the inside scoop more than you.. and you DARE go around telling ppl that this cafe sucks.. well.. indeed.. i think this cafe can't make up to the standard of other cafes around.. but there's no reason for you to look down on YOUR OWN work place.. what R'yan said was true... MS indeed didn't have any politics.. well.. not to this extent.. and auntie linda was going.. (coz they were talking about how alex's sister opening a pub some time next month... and that she was in the F&B line for awhile) L:wah alex... what if your sister comes in here.. then what.. she'll say "WAH... my brother working in such a DUMP ah ??" go off to work for her then.. why waste your time ? sheesh.. politics.. why must ther be any ? from my perspective... Alex.. he realy stinks la.. well.. for one.. he already worked here for 2 or more freaking months.. and yet he doesn't know how to operate the POS system properly.. he actually forgot the promos... i dun believe it.. i had to go up to the POS and help him key in the correct thing.. at that point.. i wasn't even fully attired.. and he.. being a SHIFT LEADER... my god.. i was soooooo pissed.... and to think he could comment on others.. then.. he kept on comparing MS to OD.. well.. no fight la.. in terms of sales.. yes.. OD wins hands down... but in terms of customer service... MS.. rules la... well.. for one.. we greet the customers when they walk in.. the OD people.. just stare blankly and wait for the ppl to approach the counter for orders... they dun give recommendations.. they just WAIT and WAIT for the customers to decide.. to read on their own.. well.. as we all know (the RM staff).. there were some changes made to the SOP (standard operating proceedure) of some food... so we should all the more divert the customers attention AWAY from the Menus.. yes.. tell them that there's a menu (uh huh.. they didn't even mention about having a menu pasted at the counter.. the customers had to strain their necks to see whats for sale and soon realise that there's actually a menu pasted on the counter top) but also interact with the customers !!! sheesh.. TOTALLY NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED... what i realised also was that the big shots were kinda biased... coz you see.. MS.. indeed.. sales are bad.. but food is depleting at a somewhat quicker way than usual... so.. the big shots were suspecting us having more staff meals than we should... and controlled us.. wel. for OD .. they have the same thing.. BUT.. they didn't recieve any complaints.. and the reason being ? well..i duno. my impression of aunty Linda was that.. she tries too hard to kiss Alex's ass... coz he's an SL (shift leader) and its benificial coz if she gets into any trouble.. well... this loser of an SL can help.. and well... they were talking about ibrahim as well.. hmm.. now i wonder... they can't accept MS culture ? Ibrahim WAS bred up by the MS and JX culture anyway... and reading their comm book.. i feel.. sheesh.. even the glue of the while team can't be bothered... like megha..well.. not can't be bothered. but just that she had more important things on her mind.. sch being the first prioity... oh well... this job... brought me to understand the network of F&B operations... cool... i might wanna open a cafe of my own... suit the theme.. suit everything.. it'll be soooo coool... ahaha.. teacher full time.. and part time cafe manager.. woohoo !! aha... now where do i find the capital money ?? ahaha.. oh welps.. can ask so many other people for tips !!! R'yan... ahaha.. cool cool... anyway.. the thing was.. there wasn't any cab.. so alex was saying.. i could leave at 11... and he insisted me to close at 8.. i mean 8 ??!?! then OPERATE WAD !?!?! dun need to sell things issit ?? well.. i kinda understand why.. coz they didn't have customers since 9... ahahaha... boring place.. even to work... MS better.. well.. thinking back.. if it were MS on a saturday night.. the music will be semi blasting... we'd be talking like nobody's business... there'll be regulars... the things will be moving... and when the time comes.. the volume of the radio goes of the an almost zero.. and the sound of the TV comes in.. ITS SOCCER NIGHT !! as for us.. we'd be busy callingup bookies.. and decidign on bets. whahaa.. so fun !!!! then at around 9 plus 10... there'll be groups of people swarming in.. ordering chocobits after chocobanana after mango frost.. ahaha.. SO FUN !!! busy ! but fun.. ahaha. the whole bar would be like a war zone.. but then we'd still comply with the orders.. the kitchen in charge for that day would be like bored coz there's no food order but the POS and the bar.. ahaha.. busy like ahaha... and table numbers havr to be given out !!! i mean.. the culture of MS... fun fun fun.. OD ??? i stare at you.. you stare at me.. and i dun blame them for gossipping... coz.. there isn't anything else to do !!! Mervin.. well.. he's ok la.. but then.. one thing is that.. i was shocked when i saw him slack like nobody's business after doing a super early preclosing (7pm mind you !!!) and then when his friends came.. he went to SIT with them... yes.. SIT !!! i mean.. sheesh ! my god.... what the fuck !?! what if win decides to drop by just to see how things are going ? or one of the big shots whom i dun think even alex has seen before ? well.. then the whole outlet.. form Noor to the newest trainee will get it.. and we.. the MS transferrs will suffer... ahha.. i'm blowing out of proportion.. heehee fine fine.. lets not talk about it anymore.. so i was obliged to go home at 11.. so sian.. well... nvm... went to meet hash and douglas.. aha.. met him for the first time.. thats cool.. ok..nothing much.. watched "saving Private Tootsie".. damn cute show... damn funny... too bad the japanese pilot had to die.. he was.. err.. ok.. ahaha... so anyway... bored la.. well.. on the brighter note.. sunday was more fun !! aahah.. lets see. band pract was ok.. having playing more fun pieces.. was quite cool.. ahaha... orient express !! cool !!! oregon ! but the one thing is.. when i walked in.. i heard..
