Wouldn't It Be Nice...

ARGH !!! im soooooo dead ! i dont know how to study Wireless Tech !!! im so screwed...

argh... well... taking my mind off it for awhile.. doing a mental note on stuff i would REALLY wanna do after thursday

1. look for job go to schools and apply for relief teaching posts.. hopefully CDS or FSS coz FSS, im an old boy ! and CDS, valane's there. so not so bad. :)

3. Make videos Just for fun.. get a team, do some vids... like those in "Canon DV fest" and "Project Pilot" and maybe some fun MTVs.. :D

not exactly the busiest period right now.. but.. haha.. its just that there's too many things to blog right now and i just dont know where to start and im kinda lazy to do it as well. heeheeeheee...

ok. lets start from... ... ...

SUNDAY

ok.. so got up bright and early (actually.. i didnt sleep the previous night.. but ended up sleeping at 6am, waking up at 1030am. erm. ok. ignore the "i didnt sleep")

went to print the pics for atikah's going away present. hmm... yea.. actually went to print some pics so that we can cut the faces out (you'll see later) and also went to print the back ground for the item.

the image i did for the back drop. simple but well, i like it.

anyway, after which we (me and alice) rushed down to UPCC to meet yun shan (who was already waiting) to get the thingy done.

Well, after 1 hour of cutting, sticking, drawing, pasting, we came up with this little thingy.

yeap. we made this little thingy for atikah... well, its damn cute la... :)

we also included a pillow that farra designed and i touched up, and also a snake which i wrote atika's name all over it. ok. a soft toy snake.

well, atikah's leaving. first it was baldwin, then atikah.. hmm... i think i'll be the next to leave. for NS... :(

must jia you ok ! i kinda miss your complains when we play revierie and when u sms me asking if i have an instrument. well, how i wish now, if i told u id give u an instrument, you'd keep on coming. :( im sure u will do very well in school ! :) study hard and miss us ok ! just like how we're already missing you. :(

anyway, after band practice, we (me, alice, colin, mumu, johan, sandy, shirley) went to china town to bask in the festivities.

I should say it was really fun. I dont usually do the ban4-ning of "nian huos" but this time, its like, im the one bringing them around. well, me alice and colin bringing those little ones around. haha...

our first stop was the stall selling festive plants and flowers..

the willow ! erm... i think. haha... or was it cherry blossoms... haha.. anyway, they're amazing ermm.. well, firstly, they have to be soaked in COLD WATER... and they're very very pretty... the buds are like snow clumping on the stems.. quite cute ! and they're like furry.. haha.. ok. its not like you've never seen this before. ok..

next we stopped at this wax meat display. mumu and johan were like amazed at the amount of pork hanging from the walls of the stall. i think it would be the first time they actually saw SO MUCH pork in one vicinity. haha

well, see for yourself.

So many lap cheongs hanging on the wall... whaha...

you know, they're pretty yummy actually. :)

ok.. so after a bit of walking and eating (i had a mongolian/tibetan (dont know which...) satay of lamb (DAMN POWER) and chicken (ALSO DAMN POWER), colin and alice bought ice cream (3 flavours for 2 bucks. they had a MOUNTAIN. they only finished it after 1 hour of walking. hurhur. and mind you, with ALL out help), sandy couldnt resist a bowl of sharks fin, we got our hands on some dried perssimons too...) we stopped at a large shelter where some uncles were playing chinese chess, and a big function... we got a closer look.. was actually the "cai deng mi" kinda thing. where people go up and guess chinese words. its pretty fun i guess.. for those proficient in the language. many people were queuing up just to give it a guess. but for us, we'd rather stay outside and watch.

ok. so it was getting boring and we were all kinda rested up (yes yes, sandy finished her sharks fin, i finished my satay and alice and colin were still struggling with their ice cream. haha)

we saw this display of pumpkins.. heehee.. they're tiny compared to the usual ones.. take a look ! oh yea. not forgetting the gourds. :)

right. we all know we will definately have to eat pomelos for new years right ? well.. it can be found in the "yu sheng" i think... and well, its just a very yummy fruit.. BUT... can u seen these kinds..

GIANT LEMONS !!!! wait a minute ! ahah.. they arent... me and alice were soooo amazed with the yellow pamelos that we HAD to take pics !! haha... the auntie (yes, the auntie in the pic) said that these kinds were the sweet ones.. and colin also added that the green ones were slightly sour and had a little bitter after taste. but still, i like pamelo.. if someone peels them for me though.. heehee.. ;)

we were almost to the end of the stretch (a LONG one at that). and we saw this magnificent display of...

a glorious chocolate fountain !!! WOAHHHHH... yummmmmmmmmm... chocolate....... mmmmm...

ok.... it didnt affect me the most. look who got so turned on she darent look. heehee...

but well, i must agree that the cheesy chicken were quite yummy. :)

then we wondered off to... 7 eleven to get some some drinks.. (Duh... these kids cant live without modern stuff... -_-)

after switching lanes to walk, we bumped into this puppet show (which we intended to watch coz colin was talking about it.. but we totally forgot. erm.. we only managed to catch "xie xie da jia ! gong xi fa cai !!"which means "thank you everyone !! gong xi fa cai !" erm.. the show ended la.. to cut things short. -__- so much for a puppet show.

well, the kids got relatively tired. but we continued to walk on. haahaa.. its not like everyday we come to china town ! haha... we walked past a few bak kwa shops.. and of course, the ever famous LIM CHEE GUAN (woah... shoikness to the max)

was supposed to look out for a dessert shop to have some traditional desserts.. but i lead the way but couldnt find the way.. erm... we walked past Xpose instead. hurhur...

We did walk past one, but we were all too full to eat anymore. haha..

when we finally walked the last stretch of china town, i saw this ! well, i couldnt resist taking some pics. its really quite nice.

quite breath taking huh ? well.. ok.. it is to me...

after walking from 730 to about 10, we decided to head for home. me and alice took a bus back (which took friggin 1 1/2 hours to reach woodlands).

of course, there are like loads more pics, but i just couldnt upload them. you know, later my blog would be even laggy ! though it already is. haha....

i really like the hustle and bustle of things. but i also like those quiet times... :)

Well, today got off to a kinda bad start with me waking up at friggin 230pm.. sheesh.. then i rushed to meet sharon to get justin's bdae pressie ready. well... we made this simple thing for her. along with a perfume (polo green), jumper (IP zone. hand picked by the aunties), and a lighter (din's getting it. not given yet though. haha)

din designed the centre piece. i made the back ground and kinda came up with the whole idea. haha... its nice ! :)

happy birthday bro !! may it be a REAL sweet one. :)

and then i did some shopping. got me my black papers, my printing papers (finally can print notes), pegs to hang pics up, socks. haha...

mum told me i can go buy new year clothes this year. haha.. and i thought i wasnt going to get new clothes. guess im getting a new jersey again this year. :)

Ok... next stretch is to STUDY LIKE MAD... i looked through the WT stuff.. NOT EASY. im so going to die. ok...
